101 Market 2009

Alex, Grandma and Mommy headed to the 101 Market yesterday afternoon. We went last year and I knew I wanted to go again this year. I love to include grandparents in anything I can. I know I have mentioned before but the relationship that Alex builds with her grandparents is probably the most important relationship in my mind.

So when we got there we had to choose the activities we wanted to join in on. Of course if you asked Alex if she wanted to go through the Maze she would say YES along with anything else we asked. So we picked 4 things for her to do plus face painting. It was not extremely busy which was nice. The weather was perfect when we where there even though we thought it was going to rain.

We took some pictures of Grandma and Alex making cute faces in the big pumpkins!

We headed straight to the maze because we thought it might rain and we wanted to get that out of the way. The Maze was huge and we got lost many times. If you tried to get through that entire maze it would take an hour. We stayed in for about 20 minutes and then decided it was time to find our way out.

Alex found a Corn Husk laying on the ground and decided she wanted it. She tried hard to pull and finally asked for help. She carried it for about 5 minutes and then threw it back onto the ground.

Once we where done with the Maze we headed into this Jumping Pumpkin. No pictures turned out because it was so orange in there. But Alex loved it and jumped for about 10 minutes. A trampoline will be on her Christmas List this year.

We also headed into the Corn Pit. Its lots and lots and lots and lots of corn and kids can just play in there. Some kids would try and run and fall right over. Alex just liked the feel of the corn and played in her small area and tried standing up a few times to only fall down.

I had to take her pictures twice by the nice pumpkins and she said "again mommy"! You can never have to many pictures can you?

She did go on an Animal Tractor Ride and I wanted to save those pictures for its own post because the animals where so cute and she loved it.

You can check out the 2 101 Market posts from last year here and here! Oh how she has grown and changed. I dressed her almost identical to how she was dressed last year and love seeing the comparison.

Wait for the post with the amazingly cute Animal Tractor Ride!
