I Need Your Help

The New Baby Nursery

Remember a few weeks ago when we went crazy and moved the guest bedroom down stairs and got Alex bunk beds and moved all the baby furniture into the old guest room / new babies room.

Well I need to pick a color for paint and decide what on earth we are doing in there. My in laws are coming into town to help watch Alex while I shoot a wedding on Saturday and have a photo shoot on Sunday and while my husband goes and gets new tires ( not because we want to but because we have to ) and my mother in law told me to make a to do list.

HAVE I TOLD YOU HOW MUCH MY IN LAWS MEAN TO US AND HOW MUCH WE APPRECIATE EVERYTHING THEY DO FOR US WHEN THEY ARE AT OUR HOUSE!

So I want to figure out paint colors well because that is something she could get done. The room is not that large and the walls are white. They are screaming to be painted.

This is what the Nursery looked like when Alex was a baby. Just check out this post -
Alexandra's Nursery. I loved the way her nursery looked and I am torn because I don't know if I should do the exact same color again. Or should I switch it up and do a yellow or somehow throw black into the mix. We don't know what we are having yet but for some reason I want black stripes in there. Is that to crazy or to out there.

Help me . . I need ideas.

We also have to repaint Alex room but we are just painting half the walls a pink color and leaving the other half green. My mom is making Alex drapes and she has edging that we are painting white to break the colors up. I get these ideas and have no idea who to do them.

I also need to figure out a changing table for the baby. I had this thing I wanted my husband to try and make that was at pottery barn but now I can not find it on there website. Another blogger had her husband make the same thing and it turned out amazing but now I can't find that blogger anymore? I might have just made her up or heck I might have thought all that up in my mind cause I have no evidence and it is driving me nuts. Anyone follow this blogger that had her husband make this book shelf type thing for her soon to be babies nursery?!?!

Ok sorry for all these random thoughts. I just need to get some figured out for paint colors by TOMORROW!!!

SO HELP . . PLEASE!!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. I actually always use natural light if I can. These photos were taken in front of a large window. I play with the settings on my camera to get the look I want, then I can always tweek it a little when editing it if I need too.
