Snowing in the Frozen Tundra

That's right the 1st snow fall of the winter!

Its cold. Its wet. Its slippery. Its amazing. Its beautiful!

Chad had to wake Alex up this morning before he went to work so that "HE" could show her the 1st snow fall of the winter!

We didn't go out right away but she wanted to get out there as soon as I would let her. She sure didn't remember how cold snow is though.

We need to get some new gloves and boots so that she is ready for the winter. Don't forget about snow pants and another hat or two. I think this winter will be a lot different.

I have a feeling she is going to want to be outside in this white, wet, fluffy, sticky stuff ALL THE TIME!

Had to take a few pictures of our neighbors tree ( that's the 1st picture ) as well as one of our trees in our back yard.

I wont like the snow as much when there are inches upon inches of it. I wont like the snow as much when the roads get icy and it takes me an extra 20 minutes to get to work. I wont like the snow as much when my husband is at work and I have to some how shovel the drive way because clients are coming for a photo shoot.

BUT FOR NOW . . I am going to enjoy this pretty white stuff we call SNOW ( and I think Alex will too ).

Snow..... I really want to say keep it up there, we here in central Illinois are not ready for it yet.

Hope you are feeling better.
Have a great week end.

Fun! And to think, I was excited the other day when it was only about 62 degree here! ;) And I love her fluffy crocs...I totally want Melody to have some of those (like it's ever cold enough for that here!)

I wish we had snow. We never get snow in Louisiana. I bet Alex will have fun in it this winter.
