Under The Weather

I took yesterday off because I was not feeling well at all. I could tell I was getting something on Wed. because my throat was all scratchy and I just wasn't feeling like myself. Well Wed. night I got little sleep and had a horrible headache when I woke up so I stayed home with Alex. The entire day was spent watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Shrek. It is horrible being sick and I just felt lazy, weak and helpless. I always have Fridays off but had to cancel a photo shoot and a blogging event because I just don't want to get anyone else sick and I want to sit or lay and watch tv with my daughter. I have 2 shoots tomorrow and I am not yet sure what I should do.

I will leave you with 2 pictures from Alex and Chads trip to North Dakota for the weekend to help out grandma and grandpa.

One last ride on the tractor and the first ride of the season on the snow mobile. We are hoping to bring the snow mobile down to our house for awhile during the winter and put it to use!

That green grass wont be green for much longer! Hope everyone else is having a great week and getting ready for the weekend. Big Twins game tonight!

BABY UPDATE : The baby seems to be doing great. I have started to feel him/her move now. Its nice to be able to feel even the smallest amounts of movement. It just makes it that much more real! We go in on the 26th to find out what we are having and we can't wait. Then I can really start getting the nursery more ready and baby names picked out!

Ahhh, isn't that the best feeling to feel them moving around. Makes me want another one. Take care of yourself & that baby. Hope you get to feeling better!

The pic of the snowmobile on the bright green grass is too funny! I loved that stage of pregnancy, when you can feel the baby first start moving. My son is only 9 months old, but I'm slowly getting more aquatinted with the idea of having another. ;)

Hope you feel better soon! As far as getting the baby to stay asleep I don't really have any tricks. That little guy was just sooo tired that he finally gave up and was conked out. I think as long as you keep them all warm and snuggly you will stand a good chance. Oh, and move very slowly to not startle them. Good luck!
