A Day In The Life

We went to the Macy's Display over Thanksgiving Weekend.

This is the 2nd time we have taken Alex and I just love going. It is free for one and it is beautiful and entertaining. It's not as long as I would hope but it really gets you into the Holiday Spirit.

These are some of my favorite pictures from the display.

Here is Alex right before she went to see Santa. I posted the actual picture a few posts below with her on Santa's Lap Screaming. She had her list already with what she was going to ask for and everything. But she wasn't having it when she actually saw him up close and personal.

After the Display she has seen 2 different Santa's. One was walking around Wal Mart and she looked at Grandma Darlene and said "I don't like that Santa either". The other Santa was at the Eden Prairie Mall and my mom walked Alex over towards him just to wave HI. Well Santa got out of his seat and walked up to Alex. She turned red and was shaking but Santa was nice and gave her a coloring book and told her she didn't need to be scared of Santa and she could come and see him anytime she wanted.

If you ask her about Santa she says she doesn't like him and just wants to say Hi. I think when she sees what Santa brings she will really like him!

I tried something new with my pictures. Not sure if I like it or not yet. Will have to toy around with it a little more and see if it will stick. Its nice to be able to have them side by side and not take up as much room.

I love the little picture of her holding her list for Santa.

I like the side by sides, too...just wish they were a little bit bigger.

Poor Alex, I was always terrified of Santa. I actually slept in my brothers room on Christmas eve night because I was so scared of him. I only wanted him for his presents.

I hope Alex does the same :)
