Young and Gone

Amy, Jen, Me and Carrie

Why did she have to go
So young I just don't know why
Things happen half the time
Without reason without rhyme
Lovely, sweet young woman

Daughter, friend and mother
Makes no sense to me
I just have to believe

This morning a friend ( Carrie, 22 years of age) passed away after an accident last night. With the snow that fell yesterday we all knew there would be accidents. What we didn't know was that someone in one of those accidents would be someone we knew, worked with, and had become friends with. She was driving, not even 15 minutes from home when she hit her breaks and swerved. Her car went into the ditch, through a fence and into an icy creek. People tried to get her out but with the frozen water they had no choice but to wait until the fire department showed up. Her car was submerged for 25 minutes. She passed away this morning leaving behind her little girl Brooklyn ( 3 years old).

I will always remember Carrie's smile and upbeat personality. She always looked for the best in people and could always put a smile on your face. She loved life and worked hard to make sure her daughter had an amazing life!

Like Carrie has said, "I may only be 22, single with a 3 year old daughter, but don't judge me. You have no right!

Please, please say a prayer for her family and for her little girl. I could not imagine how you would tell a 3 year old that her mommy isn't coming home.

Wondering : If any of my readers have made or know where I can find information about the blessing rings?! I have seen a few bloggers do this and wanted to look at them more closely!!

I am so sorry to hear about your friend Erin. Like you mentioned, how horrible it is to have to tell her sweet little girl that her mommy is no longer here. It makes me want to give an extra big hug to Hailey and Kyle.

I am praying for her family!
