I Need You

Is what Daddy yelled to Alex while he was in the shower. She Alex got off the bed and ran into the bathroom to help her daddy.

She came walking out sad holding her hand saying "I cut myself on daddy's razor". No tears being shed yet until I told her to show me and she looked down and saw a lot of blood.

1. Why do the smallest cuts bleed the most
2. Why do kids only start to cry when they see the blood

So she starts screaming and the blood is just flowing out of her little finger tip. I picked her up and brought her into the bathroom and put it under the water for a little bit and then had her hold a towel on it. This thing did not want to stop bleeding. She didn't want a band aid on but we of course talked her into it. She laid by daddy the rest of the night with her finger above her heart to help stop the bleeding.

She told daddy "she never touching his razor again and she didn't want any of her friends to touch it either".

This above story happened on Tuesday night and that wasn't the first time she has gotten his razor or touched a razor but it was the first time she had gotten cut by one.

Today while at work Alex and Sophia where both standing on a stool playing when the stool started to tip. They both where going to fall and Sophia decided to grab for Alex face and left a few big scratch marks going down her cheek. Of course she cried and I can only imagine it didn't feel to great.

Have I mentioned that this week just isn't my week. Starting to look like it's not Alex week either. Locking herself in the bathroom on Monday, cutting her finger with daddy's razor on Tuesday and getting clawed on Thursday.

Thank Goodness It Is Thursday and Our Weekend Starts Tomorrow!
