Welcome

Home Sweet Baby Girl. . .

We are heading to the Hospital now as a family of 3 and we plan on leaving as a family of 4 today. I called this morning and talked to the NNP and she gave me all good news about Avin over the night. Shortley after I hung up the phone the Neonatoligist ( not sure on spelling ) called me back and wanted to make sure I felt comfortable with bringing her home today and new what to look for while feeding Avin.

I feel comfortable, I am ready for her to be home and I know that she will be perfectly safe here with us and that the Doctors wouldn't be spending her home unless she was ready.

I have a few more updates about her stay at the NICU with a bunch of pictures to go along with those posts.

Those posts will have to wait as we are going to pick up our little girl. Alex is super excited and I told her that reality will now be able to set in that she is a big sister!

Thank You for all your thoughts and prayers through this. It has helped us get through all of this knowing that there are people out there thinking about us and our little girl.

Yay for going home!! Enjoy this time with your precious family! Avin is such a beautiful baby! My little girl was born early also, and came home at 4 lbs 2 oz and went down to 3 lbs 8 oz I believe. We woke her every two hours to feed and after that everything was perfect. Good luck and I'll be praying for you all!
