A & A

I recently got in contact with Lara from Country Side Sayings also known as Letter Block Shop and fell in love with her shop.  Lara is one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met.  She was super fun to work with, I gave her my ideas and she made a sketch of 3 different ways my idea would work.   Of those 3 I picked the one that I loved and let me tell you I love it.

Actually when we first got in contact I wasn't sure what I wanted.  I knew I wanted something different than just their names but I wanted something that had to do with both of them.  Something to help decorate our living room.  So with my ideas and her ideas we came up with this.

I love how it turned out and I am so excited to have it on display in our living room.  Now I am on the hunt for the perfect picture of my two girls together.  One day when Avin is big enough to sit on her own I will be able to take some cute family / sister pictures.

I got to know Lara a little bit and found out that she used to be a music teacher but became a stay at home mom when her and her husband had their first child 2 1/2 years ago.  Wanting to do something to bring out her creative side she picked up a paint brush for the first time 2 years ago and her business has taken off.

My favorite thing about the blocks is the little details.  The dots and the distressed look make them perfect.  I of course also love that its hand made and that love is put into each block.  Lara told me this is something she craves to do every day.  She has the best of both worlds, being home with her children but also bringing out her creative side. Make sure to mention my blog if you are going to purchase and want the 20% off!  The discount will go from today until May 27th.  Take advantage of this now it is a great special.

Lara has never done this before but she is offering 20% off on her products in her etsy shop.  I highly recommend her and any one of her products.  If you have something in mind just tell her your ideas and let her work her magic like she did for me! So many styles and colors to choose from the possibilities are endless!

Thank You Lara for these adorable blocks!
