Happy May Day

This is the first year we have took part in May Day.

I remember this day when I was little but totally forgot about it until Chad asked me last night if we were going to do May Baskets.  I thought that this year Alex was old enough to pick out a few cheap things, decorate a card and run to each house drop it off and run away.

We went to Target first thing this morning and picked out some goodies.  I love Targets dollar section and we found some cute cheap things.   She picked out ring pops, flowers, starburst, princess paper, gushers,  fun dips.

Then we got home and put everything into our cute little tin buckets.  I found some paper and made a card and had her decorate that back of the card.

We got everything together and went out in the wind to Mya and Keylees houses.  We only did these two this year and hopefully next year we can add in a few more of her friends.

She loved it and each girl came out with a big smile on there face.  I still don't think they understand it all but it was fun to watch Alex pick things out, put it all together and drop it on the door steps and run.

Hope everyone has a great May Day!
