Behind The Scenes

Do you ever wonder why people do what they do.  How someone became so creative? why they chose the career they have?  Why they own or run their own business?

When I look at a lot of Etsy shops I always wonder how did she start this shop?  I always wonder why did she start this shop and what keeps her motivated?

I don't always ask but with this shop I read her profile and when I got in contact with her she shared more about her story and her daughter Olive.  Olive is her inspiration and the entire reason this Etsy shop was created.  Olive was born with major Kidney Issues.  She has already had 2 surgeries and spent the first 4 months of her life in the hospital. I won't go into all the details but you can read more about her daughter and her daughters condition here on her profile for Etsy.  You can also read her blog and learn more about her life, as I know we all love new blogs.

Cassie's daughter is the light of her life, just like all are children are.  Only Cassie is making these adorable shoes in order to support her daughter the best she can.  She is making these shoes to help pay for her daughters doctor bills ( as we know they can be overpowering ).  100% of each purchase goes towards her daughters medical bills.

Cassie sent me these adorable brown and pink damask ballerina shoes for Avin and they are SO SO SO cute.  They are the smallest pair she has ever made and at 4 months they are still a little big on Avin but because I can tie them up her little legs they stay on.

She does not only make baby shoes but I would say that is her strong point.  All of her shoes are so cute and SO affordable.  They range from 10 to 13 dollars, you can't find shoes for that price even at Target!  She makes them for boys and girls.  Right now I am in love with the Jungle Friends and the white, pink and purple loafers.  They range in sizes 0 - 18 months.

Instead of wasting fabrics that are left overs she has turned them in to facial scrubs, hair ties and more.  I think it is wonderful that she has found a way to use leftover scraps instead of just tossing them in the garbage.

I am excited to be doing this giveaway.  I actually feel very honored to share her story on my blog with you all.  So Thank You Cassie for allowing me to do this for you and to share about your story.

Cassie is allowing me to give away one pair ( your choice ) of loafers on her site.
You can pick the size and fabric that you want.
This does exclude the ballerina and the mary jane style.

I would pick the Turquoise Damask Bow Button Loafers. The ones I looked at were a size 12-18 months but if I could get them smaller I would probably pick 0-3 months.
