Way Back

When we went to the Children's Museum!

Which happened to be months ago we had a blast.
It is a place where a kid can be a kid and have a ton of fun.

From moving rain clouds to start a storm, crawling inside a turtle shell or running around in an ant hill.  The girls stayed busy and enjoyed every minute of it.

They even painted rocks with water.
Who knew painting rocks with water could be so much fun!

There was a music area and the boys ( and girls ) loved this.  Even Avin had a great time listening to the guy play the guitar, her sister on the drums and the boys laughing.

See she has mad skills on the drums.  She was a little shy at first but loved trying to play along with the man on the guitar.

The boys, well they had a blast with this guy on the guitar.  He told them that he would play as fast or as slow as they drew.  Just look at the faces of these two boys and you can tell how much fun they where having.

I told you, their faces are priceless!

Even Sophie tried it out.  Alex just stayed on the drums.

Parker tests out a guitar of his own.
We then headed inside to check out what else there was to do.

We found a station where the kids could paint their own faces!  It was fun to let them to whatever they wanted and see what they came up with.  The girls definitely had way more fun with this then the boys.

In that same room the kids also got to play with balls, hula hoops and much more!
you can see Cole in the background of the two pictures below on some sort of teeter toter.

We also played in a room that had huge tubs filled with brown sugar, flower and some other stuff.  The kids loved playing in that room.  The pictures I got in there did not turn out the best.

Avin was great throughout the entire day and just loved people watching.

We had a great day and I know I can not wait to go back.  I think next year we will have to have a season pass because it allows the kids to run around and almost be free just like the zoo.
