Rattle Rattle

Looking at all the little baby toys Avin has got me to thinking when on earth did I play with when I was little.  There are so many, too many toys out there now days for kids and I am so grateful that Alex is such an outdoor girl that in the summer time she would rather be outside then doing anything else.

So I got to thinking and searched Etsy for an old fashioned rattle.  A rattle that is durable and cute but isn't bright colors with 3 or 5 little things hanging from it that make different noises.  I wanted something simple and sweet.

My search came to an end when I came across Aime & husband Jonathan's Etsy shop Hands In Wood! I read her profile and knew this would be someone I wanted to work with and it also reminded me of my grandpa as he was a woodworker.

The profile said this :
" Our goal is to create high quality toys that can be passed down for generations. Making the toys safe for children is top priority, which means no chemicals or dyes, and everything sanded smooth. We try to include a variety of price ranges and focus on toys that inspire creativity and imagination in young children."

This was exactly what I was looking for, exactly what that small paragraph above described and I contacted them and got this adorable little duck that will make an appearance in Avin's stocking this Christmas

I have to tell you how surprised I was when I got this duck in the mail.  I was shocked but it was a great shocked and made me love this little duck even more.

It has a tiny rattle in it as well and it will be perfect for her to hold onto, bite on and play with.  I won't have to worry about her chocking or worry about lead or any of those other chemicals that are in so many toys these days.

They named is the Rattling Duck Teether.
A perfect toy for a will be an almost 11 month old that has no teeth yet!

When I got it, I looked it over and I could tell they put a lot of thought into how to make it.  You can tell they put time into each one and that they truly enjoy what they do as a family, Husband and Wife.

Amiee is so sweet and is allowing me to give away on of these amazing Rattling Duck Teethers!
You should be really excited because I know a lot of you have little ones or will have little ones and this is perfect for your little one I promise!

I love it so much I am thinking about ordering Avin one of the pull along toys for her birthday in February!!

So it is your lucky day and you can win that little ducky and call it your own!
