The Schuler Side

We celebrated with my husbands family the weekend before Christmas.  Chad and I are on an every other year system and this year we where with my family on Christmas Eve and Day and we find another time to celebrate with his family.  Next year we will be with his family over Christmas!

His brother Nate and his wife where flying into the cities late on Sunday night and because we wanted to see them we all took Monday off and did Christmas at our house with Chads family.  It was small and really nice.  We had no where to be and just got to spend time as a family.  Chads family came down on Saturday and we all just hung out until Monday when we did gifts and dinner.

It really meant a lot to get us all together.  Chads brother Nate is in the Air Force and lives in New Mexico.  He will actual be deployed for the 2nd time in January so this was one last time to get to spend some quality time with them.

We all got lots of great stuff and I got to check lots of stuff off of our wish lists.

Alex got her Leapster Explorer hand held game with 3 games, Alphie, bath toys, clothes from gap, memory game and more.

Avin got lots of clothes from gap, tons of bath toys, a ride on train and more.

Chad got stuff for his computer ( he is building a new one ) and new snowmobiling gloves.

I got lots of makeup, new pj tops and bottoms, sandals, stuff for my feet and lightroom 3.

We both got Best Buy Gift  Cards and the Blu Ray The Other Guys!

We are so lucky and had a wonderful Christmas with Chads Family.
I still can't believe that Christmas has already come and gone.
It seems that we plan for so long and it comes and goes so fast.
