Doesn't Take Long

It is no secret that I can not stand to sit in a house with 4 or 5 kids.  So at least once a week we pack up and head out some where fun.  We do all sorts of things from a park to swimming or the Zoo in the summer but in the winter months we have to get a little more creative.  We go to the mall a lot and play at the indoor play area there, we also go to a few GIANT indoor play parks.  This helps the kids get so much energy out and we all know they need that during the winter days!

This was only the 2nd time we had been to this indoor park and it brought back some crazy memories.  Last time we where at this park in Maple Grove I was maybe 12 or 14 weeks pregnant with Avin and had been experiencing some slight bleeding.  It was at this park where I was 100% sure I had miscarried because of how much blood and clots I had lost.

When this happened, thank goodness my mom was with me and my friend Anna could meet us at the hospital as I had 4 kids with us at the time and we rushed to my Dr. Office.  They got me in right away and to my surprise we still heard the heartbeat and saw little Avin holding on strong.  It was then we knew she was meant to be and was not going anywhere!

This time she was with us at the park and she was walking all over the place and watching the big kids play.  It was not busy at all and the kids just ran all over.  They have a toddler area which is perfect for Avin and it is even gated off from all the big kids.

I was lucky to capture this picture of the 3 older kids.  They where always all over the place and never stayed still until we left for lunch.  This park is not as big as the one we normally go to so we could almost always hear them and most of the time see them which was fun.

They spent a lot of time going down the yellow slide.  Which was fun because I sat at the end and just kept taking pictures of them.

While they went down the slide Avin watched at the bottom and had a great time listening to them laugh and scream.  She just layed there and kicked her left foot on the mat ( for some reason she always kicks one foot while laying on the floor ).

Sophie can only last a few minutes before she has to come and touch all over Avin ( this may be why she is always sick because Sophie is always all over her ).  But it can be cute because Sophie sure does love her!

Then we started to play "How big is Avin"
Her smile lights up the room I tell you!

Parker and Alex climbed to the highest areas of the park.
Can you see her in the big red thing?

Then Avin played by a Chair for about 20 minutes and had a blast.
Oh the small joys in life.

Alex came to take a few pictures with her sister!
Do you think they will always adore each other like this?
Please say YES!

 It was a fun day.
I am lucky that my mom is able to come and help out one day a week ( sometimes more ) so that we can go and do fun things as a big group.

What are some fun things you do with your kids during the cold winter months or even when it is hot and sunny out!

P.S. - It doesn't take long for babies to grow!

It looks like a fun place to play! I can definitely tell that they adore each other!
We have a zoo pass and a museum (for 5 different museums) pass, and we go on frequent playdates. It helps just to get out of the house!

Aw, I love these pictures. I most definetely agree that Avin's smile could light up the room! She is so very precious. Babies do grow up way to fast! Your girls will always adore one another, even if they have their spats, their love for each other will always be there =)

Play gyms are the best. There are some fun music classes we do here, play gyms are always great and sometimes we just like to put up the play tent and pull out old toys to switch things up at our house.
