Getting Ready For Valentines Day

This weekend we spent a lot of time getting ready for Valentines.  I love doing small little things and Alex loves to help.  We put a lot of effort and thought into these Valentines and Alex loved making them for her friends.  Today we went door to door and dropped of her Valentines.

We had to cut and print a lot of things.  My thumb still hurts from cutting so much :).  I don't like to waste paper so all the left overs where cut into little scraps and put on the bottom of each bucket we where giving to her friends.

Even the husband got in on the action and helped us out by making slits and drilling a hole through her Valentines! We had to poke suckers through them so we needed his help. Thanks husband for helping even when you don't want to take part.. truly appreciated it!

My big girl so excited to pass out her Valentines.
In each bucket was Hand Dipped Pretzels, Heart Shaped Oreo Cakesters, Sucker Valentines and a Painted Picture by Alex herself.  Alex and I ( with the help of the husband ) made everything ourselves and everything turned out amazing.

So proud of Alex for helping me with all her Valentines for her sweet friends.

Chad, Alex and Avin opened gifts today.  I had them wrapped and they didn't want to wait.  I got Alex and Avin a tub full of nail polish and fun nail design stuff.  Alex loves to have her nails painted and I have no nail polish here.  She was excited.  I got Chad a new Keurig Coffee Maker.  He was not expecting it at all and HE LOVED IT.  He spent an hour after he opened it researching it and looking at all the different things he can do and of course he made a cup of coffee. I hit the jackpot on gifts.

HEAT WAVE

She started like the picture above and ended like the picture below.
Someone thinks it's summer.
notice the no hat and sandals.

And Bath Time.
I just thought about how I never take pictures of them in the tub
and not sure I have but a very few of Avin in the tub at all.

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend.
Avin is starting to feel better.  Hoping for a good nights sleep tonight.
