Cup Cake Liner Garland

One of the party blogs that I follow ( which I follow a few ) gave me this great idea.  They didn't personally blog about this idea but I saw it in the background on one of the parties she was show casing and I thought it was such a great idea that I had to try it.

So I searched on Etsy and came across Cupcake Social and got in contact with Jen and she was amazing to deal with and gave me great feedback about my idea and what she thought would look best together.

So I ordered a ton of super cute totally OLIVIA cupcake liners and patiently waited for them to get here.  Once they got here I couldn't want any longer and just started figuring out how to make the idea I had in my mind.  I made holes in the center of the liners and had some red ribbon that I wanted to use.

It took me about 30 or 40 minutes to string them all through.
I doubled some of them up and now I wish I would not have done that because I would
have a lot more extra to make more then just 2.
3 different times I had to cut the end of the ribbon off because it became to frayed.

See my balloon wreath on our front door . .  LOVE IT
Again I am not sure where I got this idea from and I wish I could give the person credit but I love it and it was super cheap, easy and it super super cute.

Jen from the cupcake social has her shop on vacation right now but she has amazing stuff and she is willing to work with you to make the perfect product.  I am not sure how she does it but I adore the liners she sent me and will for sure be back.

I am currently looking for more cute ideas for birthday party decorations that are super easy and cheap.. any of you got great ideas?
PS. I found the party and it was on Karas Party Ideas and it was an Owl Themed Party.. you have to scroll down a bit to see the cupcake liners.

Erin, I LOVE THIS!! I want to make one for my daughter's 1st bday (zebra and hot pink). I was wondering if you used mini liners or regular liners and about how many did you get?
