Every day between 1:30 and 2:00 pm I put the girls down for nap.
Weather we are at our house or working they are almost always down around that time.
When I put them down I make sure that before hand I have gotten all the dishes in the dishwasher and things picked up so that most the time I can sit and relax or read my book. Some days I will do laundry or work on small projects but most days during nap I relax.
Then I hear . . .
The garbage man, the mail man, a dog bark, kids getting off the bus, the fed ex man, the builders across the street and the list goes on.
TO ME THEY ARE ALL SO LOUD!
Like I get frustrated that they would drive by or that a kid would be outside screaming during nap time. Hello don't people know kids nap around this time of the day and they need to be quite.
But are these things really that loud?
Loud enough to wake the kids up?
I mostly think it is just my imagination because the kids pretty much sleep through almost anything. I was also told that it should never be silent in a house and that kids should be able to sleep through noises.
When your kids go down for a nap do you think everything is EXTRA loud?
