For Alex Birthday I wanted to try and keep things a little more simple. Usually I go over board and have way to much food, which we still kind of did but it was a lot better.
Starts : Chips with Mueller Dip, fruit and veggie trays with dips
Lunch : Mini Cheeseburger sliders, moms bean dish, potato salad and pickles
Dessert : Cookies and Cake w/ Ice Cream
The Cake of course is made by my cake lady and never disappoints!
The Olivia Cake Topper I order on Etsy. It took me about 15 different contacts to different shops to finally find the right shop. Most shops wanted 50 dollars or more for the cake topper and I was not willing to spend that kind of money. I finally found Sweetly Done and order through her. I was a little worried because she does not have a lot of feedback but for 11 dollars for the Olivia and 3 bows that she sent me ( which we didnt use ) I could not turn it down. Olivia turned out amazing and was the perfect touch to the cake!
Lately I have been interested in trying new things and when I came across these pig cookies at Decorated Cookie I had to give them a try. Thank goodness for the help from my mother in law we learned and had a good time making them. They turned out super cute ( not perfect ), I would love to try a few more types of cookies from her blog!
Alex got her own little cupcake.
Even though I am pretty sure she ate cake instead!
She got clothes, books, lots of toys, TAG reading, a mini baby grand piano,
rain boots / umbrella, easy bake over, paints, games and a big trampoline!
Best Friends Forever.
Mya, Alex and Keylee!
Happy 4th Birthday Alexandra!
