In A Matter Of Minutes....

Very last minute...
On a chilly Monday night...
We decided to do Family Photos!

My friend Carrie and I had been trying to do each others family photos for a few weeks now...
But the weather has been crappy and very cold which made it difficult.
Plus working around work schedules and kids schedules isn't easy!

Trying to find outfits for family photos...
Is by no means my strong point, even being a photographer...
It stresses me out, drives me insane and irritates me!

To try and find things that go together for 3 girls...
But don't exactly match is really not that easy.

It's also hard when you don't know what the weather is gonna do...
So you find layers so you can add more or take off depending on the temperature.

I loved Avins outfit...
Alex outfit isn't really her...
and mine didn't really match!

But the pictures turned out fantastic...
I am in love with them, each and every one...
And I am amazed at just how beautiful my little girls are!

As a photographer I take a ton of pictures...
I edit a ton and give my clients as many as I can...
But as a client or doing my own family pictures...
I really only need and want a few!

The more I have to choose from, the harder the decision is for me...
and I am horrible at picking and making decisions...

With it being so cold on Monday...
Carrie and I knew that the shoots where going to be super fast!

I took her family pictures first...
Then she took pictures of me and the girls...

With a little over 15 minutes...
We where able to capture a few different poses...
Individuals, Family, Sisters and Mommy and the girls!

Honestly I sometimes think that less time is better...
Especially with kids that you know can actually listen...

It's fun having a ton of pictures but in the end...
You really only print 5 or 6 of them if that.

No one needs 15 pictures printed from the same photo shoot...
Better to do a few photo shoots throughout the year for shorter periods of time...
That's just my opinion though!

A BIG thank you to my friend Carrie for helping me capture these photos!
Love them and love seeing them in pictures frames around my house.
I really appreciate it and our friendship!
