A Little Bit Of Christmas

This time of year is always so much fun...
But with the fun comes craziness, busy days, with so much going on...

At times its almost hard to stop and enjoy each and every moment...
To really take it all in, capture it and remember it.

To find time for Family pictures, Holiday Baking, Getting and setting up a Christmas Tree,
Going to see Santa, Finding those perfect dresses, Christmas shopping, Holiday Crafts,
Spending time with family and much much more...

I am not one for a fake tree...
Really I can't stand them one bit...

I want to start a tradition of taking the kids out...
and cutting down our own tree each year...
making a night out of decorating it...
But for now Home Depot Tree Lot will do!

This is the first year that I am actually excited about my tree!
Not to mention the girls mini tree...

I got new ornaments...
Greens, woodsy, brownish/golds and a little silver...
Alex and Avin both helped pick some of the ornaments...
Was so sweet Alex picked out a Deer for Bob and a Fox for herself!
I can not wait to add a few personal things to the tree each and every year.

Now whenever I go somewhere & even when taking a few peaks online...
I find myself looking in the "holiday" section to see what I can find...
From West Elm, Von Maur and Pottery Barn....
I am in love with these below!

It is really exciting to be excited about a Christmas Tree...
seems so silly but its really true decorating your tree to your style...
there is just something about it that, so fun and almost peaceful!

Ok I sound silly or crazy!

The girls got their own mini tree...
Last year we used bright crazy colors for our tree...
To say the least, I was not in love but they like it!

This year they got to use those bright colors on their own tree, THANK GOD!!!
and they love it, they love having a tree in their room lighting it up.
even Willy has made him self cozy under their tree for bedtime.

It's nice to be able to sit at the kitchen table, or lay on the couch watching tv...
and look over and be proud of a christmas tree.. something so simple...
Can bring so much happiness and joy to ones life!
