Gymnastics Meet

Alex had her end of the year Gymnastic Meet on Tonight...
You could tell she was a little nervous but excited...
She loves gymnastics, is good at it and has a blast doing it...
Helps that she adores and loves her coach...

Her, Bob and I where talking about her meet a few nights before her meet...
She had a lot of people coming to watch her and cheer her on...
Bob, Me, My mom and Step dad, Auntie Heather and the kids, her dad and Grandma Darlene...
It was a pretty big deal if you couldn't tell...

Well the next morning she said "mom what if i forget my routines"...
Her nerves where starting to kick in...
I reminded her that it was ok and a coach would be there to help.

She wasn't with her group from class...
In her class she is the youngest...
She has already moved up to the next level starting in the summer...
But she seems to know some of the girls...
As she was always chatting.

She started off with Beam, First of Three events...
She did great, most impressed with her round off of the beam!
She scored 8.9 which got her 2nd place.

Then she moved to Bars...
I was most impressed with her here...
During her class I never get to see her on bars because its so far back...
So I wasn't sure what all she could do but she impressed me.

She did amazing on bars...
Scoring a 9.20...
Which again placed 2nd out of the 10 girls...

Last she went to floor, She did well on floor...
Def needs to learn to slow down, take her time and finish each move...

She finished floor with a 8.80...
Which placed her 7th on floor...

Overall she did awesome...
She is at such a young age were she is sucking everything in...
Learning and growing so much with each class...
This Gym is amazing... Challenging for Both Alex and Avin...
Which in the end keeps them both... Happy, Excited and Learning...

It's gonna be hard to say goodbye to this gym when we move...
If we say goodbye to this gym...
It might be worth the drive...
Decisions!

She placed 3rd overall...
3rd out of 10 girls...
So did amazing...
So Proud Of Her!
