Memorial Weekend At The Camper

Bob, the girls and myself headed up to the camper for a long weekend.
The girls where rocking their new hats and excited to spend the weekend up north.

The girls spent most the weekend playing.
I love that no matter where we go, they make friends.

They found a family with 3 girls and a boy.
3 of the kids being close to their ages, they hit it off.
They played with these kids all weekend long.

I spent a lot of the weekend watching them play and reading.
I started and finished, "the girl on the train" that weekend.

The book was great, I couldn't put it down.
I love reading when I can really get into the book.

We of course spent time Fishing!
The girls weren't always big fans as they would have rather been playing.

But they fished a little, played with the bait, made forts,
complained but most of all had fun!

The weather was hit and miss throughout the weekend.
Light sprinkles fell upon us while out fishing.
The girls took advantage of their forts to stay dry.

As you can tell by their outfits,
the weather is on the cooler side.

The weekend was relaxing.
It was nice to have the extra day up there.

Always making memories as a family.
