Two Years Well Spent...

( state fair / exploring / snowmobiling / wild hockey game )

Looking back 2 years ago from today, our first date.  A smile spreads across my face as I think about the moments leading up to you picking me up... pacing back and forth, playing volleyball against my wall, waiting for you to pull up.  You sending me text messages: 5 minutes, 2 minutes, 30 seconds... my hands shaking, heart racing... I was so excited yet so nervous.  Not so chatty on the way to the lake I remember you asking if I was ever going to talk.  The walk around the lake was perfect and not even being hungry at Champps because I was still so nervous.  I was so far out of my comfort zone yet so comfortable with you.

( mini gulf by grandview / out to eat )

When it came to you, I had no patience.  I still have no patience.  I wanted to spend as much time with you as possible but that isnt always easy with kids and setting limits.  You respected my boundires yet pushed me in all the right ways.  Those first few weeks and months where perfect, dating you was fun, interesting, exciting, nerve wrecking, adventours and thrilling.

( Bobs parents /  snuggling / at the cabin and four wheeling )

My nerves didn't shake for weeks, hell maybe even months.  I was always pacing before dates, always looking out the window waiting for you to show up whether it be for a date or coming over later at night to snuggle. I still find myself waiting for you to come home, craving your touch and affection 2 years later...

( Heather and Ian wedding )

You have become my best friend, restored my hope in love, given our children a relationship to look up to and made my heart happy.  We have done so much in just a short two years: we are always up to something, always on the go and always finding new adventours to take on.  We have so much in the plans and we have so many more goals and dreams to achieve, I believe with you anything can happen and for that I am truly lucky!

( four wheeling / 4th of july / a night outside / ice fishing )

I truly am thankful for you in so many different ways.  You are the hardest working man I have ever met, not to mention the most handy.  You allow my ideas to come to life ( well some of them ) and that in itself excites me.  You are dedicated to me and to our relationship and you prove that daily.  You challenge me and take me out of my comfort zone, which excites me and scares me all at the same time.  You are not one for affection in public but you will randomly hold my hand, put your arm around me and pull me in and when that happens my heart skips beats.  I will forever be thankful for your snuggles every night and your kisses every morning, I would be lost without
those things.

( severs corn maze / bobs birthday at Texas Roadhouse )

2 years later and im still obsessed with you, still into you, still crazy about you and still falling more in love with you every day!  2 years later and your still my lottle to I love you, still my kissy boo boo and still the one I look forward to falling asleep next to every single night.  Those things will never change, you complete me and I plan to love you forever!

( four wheeling up north )

Happy 17532 hours my kissy boo boo! Happy 730 days my love!
Happy 24 months babe! Happy 2 years baby!

2 years down and a life time to go!
