Christmas Tree Farm

I am a lover of a real Christmas Tree...
I have wanted to for years head out to a Christmas Tree Farm...
This year we finally went out as a family...
A new tradition for this bunch!

We found a weekend that worked with all the kids...
I researched near by tree farms and picked B&J Evergreen Farms...
They had activities like sleigh rides, dog sledding, horse rides, bon fire & petting zoo...

We found the tree... Well we found a couple trees...
We couldn't agree and Bob cut one he thought looked good down!
I moaned and complained... the girls said we needed a different one...
We stuck with this one and they all helped carry the tree out!

After we found the Tree...
We went back to the main area and the kids enjoyed the activities!
We were lucky with nice weather, the place was pretty crowded!

The kids did the dog sledding pull twice, I joined them for one round...
This would have been more fun with snow so they could have really pulled the sleigh!

The kids waited in a decent line for a tiny horse ride...
They where all smiles when it was their turn!

We sat by the fire for a little bit....
Bob and I enjoyed it longer while the kids ran free!

While we where in the car just getting there...
The kids where saying "thank you" for bringing them there...
I absolutely love doing these adventures with them...
Love making memories with them!

Before we left we went on the sleigh ride...
The horses where beautiful and huge!

The sleigh driver handed out music sheets for us to sing...
No one was going to start or sing...
But our girls took lead and sang to everyone on the sleigh!

It was fun watching them sing...
All the people around smiling and laughing...
some even joining in!

We ended the day at the tree farm but making a pit stop at the big snow man...
I had to convince pop.. ok whine and nag until he pulled down into the area where the snowman was..
But we got this image with the giant guy... and we will each year for years to come!

What a great Tradition This Will Be....
Year after year after year....

Happiest Of Holidays!
