Gold Bracket Part 2

We all know you can't win the game with just great pitchers...
sure they speed the game up, keep the opponent from scoring runs...
but in the end you need your girls to be hitters and good ones at that.

It's takes the entire time when it comes to hitting...
not just 1 girl can carry the team when it comes to scoring runs...

At the beginning of the year I remember most girls just watching the ball...
Or better yet just hoping and watching for that 5th ball so Coach Travis could come in...

As the games went on the girls gained more confidence and showed more determination...
They entered the batters box wanting and hoping to get a hit...

They didn't just wait for the ball but they started swinging at strikes,
and not only strikes that where thrown by their coach...

It's so neat to watch young kids confidence grow,
its fun watching things click and them picking up different aspects of the game...

The season started and there was so much to learn...
With great coaches on the field to help guide and instruct...

Us parents watched our girls turn into ball players...
and with each new year, they will continue to grow, learn and suceed.

Proud of each of these girls and the entire season they had...
We are most defiantly sad to see it come to an end.

Much thanks and appreciation to the coaches...
Who poured hours of time and dedication into these young girls...

Great Season Alex and all of Annandale Red...
So glad you enjoyed your first year of fast pitch...
Can't wait for you to play again next year!

PS.  if anyone is interested in doing clinics at "the shed" in buffalo with Alex
over the winter months... let me know!
